Jordan Brown
FTHCS Graduating Class of 2025

“For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
Luke 1:37
About Me
My name is Jordan Renee Brown, and I am proud to be graduating from From the Heart Christian School in 2025. Throughout my life, I have been deeply involved in the figure skating community, a journey that has shaped me in ways I never expected.
For years, I was one of the few African American skaters in my competitions, often facing challenges that had nothing to do with my skill or dedication. I saw many skaters who looked like me walk away from the sport, believing they would never truly belong. But I chose a different path. With the support of my coaches, I pushed forward, learning perseverance, self-discipline, and determination—values that have influenced every aspect of my life.
Beyond skating, I have dedicated myself to leadership, service, and academic excellence. As Student Body President, a Georgetown Reach Mentor, and a Youth Council Member for Y.A.P.P., I have worked to uplift and support my peers. My service has taken me across the world, from Rome, Italy, with Girl Scouts Destinations to Tel Aviv and Haifa, Israel, with CISV, where I engaged in global community-building efforts.
I am also an honored recipient of the Girl Scouts Gold and Silver Awards, a National Recognition Scholar with the College Board, and a dedicated pianist recognized by the Maryland State Music Teachers Association. Through all of these experiences, I have learned that passion, persistence, and purpose create lasting impact.
As I prepare for the next chapter of my journey, I hope to continue inspiring others—especially those who feel out of place in their dreams. Whether on the ice, in music, or in leadership, I want to encourage young people to push past doubt, embrace their talents, and never give up on what they love.
Thank you to everyone who has supported and guided me on my journey.
